On April 20th, 2021 my family and I were given the incredible opportunity to volunteer for IRUSA by packing nutrisious meals into small goodie bags. Each bag contained a vitamin pouch, pinto beans, dehydrated vegetables, soy flour, and rice. These bags cost no more than $1 each to put together but would be the foundation to an entire meal for families all over the world. It opened my eyes to how little it takes to provide necessities to those in need and I decided that I should try to do more in making these types of meals accessible to all.
With a small goal of only $300, we together could provide 300 meals this year!
